Improve Your SEO Ranking BY Posting Videos

Online video is quickl ybecoming the most viewed content on the internet. So it is a good idea to post as many videos on your site as possible. More and more Video Snippets are showing up in search engine results. Video snippets are portions of videos. There are steps necessary to make sure that your videos appear as snippets in search engine results.
First you should divide your videos into clearly identifiable sections. For example on a four minute video on how to make apple pie you can label the first minute ingredients, the second minute preparation, the third minute cooking time and the last minute cooling time before serving. Dividing your video into different labeled parts will help search engines go directly to the relevant part of your video in video snippet search engine results.
Next as with images you should provide all the relevant metadata for your video. Fill out the title, description and tags(keywords) in  order to search optimize your video. If possible include one of your keywords in the title. This will also help your SEO rankings.
The final step is optional but can be very helpful. Upload a transcript of your video along with the video itself. While this may be very time consuming it will make sure that search engines understand every word on your video.
One final tip the embedding of videos from third party sites like Youtube will also help your search engine ranking. Also kind in mind that Youtube is the most popular video site around so always make sure that your videos are optimized for Youtube. Most of the video results that show up in searches are from Youtube.

Don't Be An Anonymous Author

As I mentioned before the trustworthiness of your site will greatly affect your SEO rankings. So it it a good ideal to clearly identify yourself with as much information possible as the author of your pages. Keep your contact information up to date and provide as much information as possible.  If your running a personal site or blog identify yourself with you correct name and date of birth. It would also be a good idea to provide your highest level of education and your profession or occupation. If it is a company website provide on the site all the important details of your company. The reason why is that search engines like to know where and from who the website information is coming from. This will better enable them to judge the trustworthiness and reliability of the information posted on your site. Sites written by anonymous authors might be viewed with skepticism and may be ignored by search engines. Search engines like to know exactly who is posting the information on your site so it is best to be a transparent author.
The best way to provide this information is have a contact page or link on your blog or website. Your contact page should contain all of the pertinent information on your business or company. If your site is a personal site your contact page should contain your real name, age and if possible at least the state that you reside in.  Also always provide a way for anyone to contact you either by phone or e-mail. This will show search engines that you are readily available and you have nothing to hide.

Be visible as an author by providing a contact page.

Optimize Your Site for Visual Search

Visual Search is when you search an image in a picture search engine like Google Lens. Visual searches are becoming more and more popular and as a result are being paid more attention from search engines. You should populate your webpages with images complete with description and alt tags. The same rules for domain authority ranking also stand for images. The images that lead to the most descriptive, informative and helpful content will be ranked the highest by search engines.  Placement of the image on the page is also critical. Search engines will prioritize sites where the image appears higher on the page, Do not hide your images on the bottom of posts. Make them a central part o your post by placing in highly visual areas.

Improve Your Domain Authority

In the old days the amount of links coming to and from your site would be the most deciding factor in your search engine ranking. As of 2020 that is no longer true. Domain authority is the deciding factor in ranking your website. Domain authority is the overall trustfulness and expertise of the content on your site. Sites with potentially hateful or harmful content will be ranked low. On the other hand sites providing helpful content coming from a knowledgeable author will be ranked higher. So your website or blog should provide positive content coming from reliable sources in order to receive a high ranking from search engines. Be aware that any material posted on your site will be scrutinized carefully by search engines. Sites deemed to be potentially harmful to it's visitors will be ignored by search engines.
Sites containing helpful content will receive higher search engine rankings.
Google used to rank sites based on page rank on a scale from 1-10. But now Google is relying more on the domain authority rank which is based on a scale from 1-100. For more information on what exactly is domain authority ranking and how to improve yours view the video below.

Welcome to my new SEO blog

Welcome to my new blog. The purpose of this blog is to provide tips for increasing your website or blog's ranking on Google and other search engines. Search engine traffic is critical for the success of your website. It can provide thousands of free traffic instantly. Without it you will be forced to spend lots of money advertising your site and lots of time looking for link exchange partners. Your goal should be to provide the most google search friendly posts so that your site will be indexed thoroughly and accurately. I will provide the best tips possible for success with search engines. Keep in mind that SEO(search engine optimization) is a constantly evolving process. What worked last year won't necessarily work this year. That is why you must keep aware of the current SEO rules so that your site will continue to be indexed properly.
Here are some quick tips first to help you begin. Google and other search engines are looking for sites that provide fresh new content on a regular basis. Taking shortcuts like buying made websites on Ebay or using auto post software will usually not work. Search engines have tools that will identify copied and duplicate content. Always write your posts in your own words. Do not simply copy and paste. Copy and paste posts can get your banned from search engine results. Do not be lazy. Always provide as much metadata as possible both in posts and images. Provide relevant keywords and an accurate description. The more information you provide the more material search engines will crawl. Following these steps alone will send some search engine traffic to your site.
